Quadrant Homes Teams up with Northwest Harvest for Hunger Relief During the Holiday Season
BELLEVUE, Wash. – (Nov. 8, 2007)This holiday season, Quadrant Homes, Washington’s largest homebuilder, is teaming up with Northwest Harvest, Washington’s only statewide hunger relief agency to help fight hunger in Washington. Between now through December 14, Quadrant Homes invites Western Washington residents to donate at least one canned food or non-perishable food item at one of its open sales centers, and Quadrant Homes will match every donation. In recognition of donors’ generosity, every person that makes a food donation will also receive two free tickets to the Space Needle. “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Northwest Harvest. Together, we can help make a difference in our local communities and help everyone share in the spirit of the holiday season,” said Peter Orser, president of Quadrant Homes. “We are constantly striving to support those in our own backyard and there is no better way than to help someone with their basic needs.” To help, bring at least one canned good or non-perishable food item to one of the community sales offices. Quadrant Community Sales Offices are located in Bonney Lake, Bothell, DuPont, Kent, Lake Sawyer, Lake Stevens, Marysville, Mount Vernon, Olympia, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, Snoqualmie, Spanaway, Tumwater and Yelm. The food drive marks the beginning of Quadrant’s holiday season activities. Quadrant will also feature a float in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 23rd in downtown Seattle.
