Technology news site GeekWire recently published a Q&A with Leslie Alexandre, president and CEO of Life Science Washington (client), who was chosen as the site’s “Geek of the Week.” Alexandre, who holds a doctorate in public health from UCLA, took the helm of Washington state’s life science industry association in 2016. As she told GeekWire, she is inspired in her work by the power of life science innovation to solve some of the world’s greatest challenges. She’s also a proponent of loving what you do. “If you don’t,” she says, “nothing will create good work-life balance.”
